  5. Hi, you do good work. I have taken apart like 5 wood pallets because I want to build a couple of planters boxes. I can do cider wood but I'm going for the age look (vinegar and steel wool). I think the wood for the pallets are hard-wood and also free. I was trying to download your plans but I cant seem to get anything from the download. Can you please help out.

  6. I mentioned wanting to build a planter and its VERY similar to the one you already built. I believe mine will be taller but overall its basically the same. Do you have a full post on that project? The build I'm going to be doing will involve a self-watering component so I'm interested to see how you set yours up.

  7. Good site and good projects. I too am interested in the Shop Stand. Because I already use Google Sketchup it was easy to download and work with the file. I used the Dimensions tool to measure out all the pieces. But I have a question though. Some of those measurements came out to really oddball lengths with fractions like 25/64, 59/64, 33/64. Did you have actual measurements like that or is there a difference between real world measurements and Sketchup? Just curious, I don't think it matters too much as the pieces should all be relative. But wanted to ask none the less.

Do you know the rough cut lengths? If you put those up the rest ought to be easy(er) than working back from finished dimensions. Everything is off the 10* cut, right?

Anyhow, thanks for the video. I'll be using this to set up an old 1950s Craftsman 100.

    1. If I remember correctly, I just rounded everything to 1/2" lengths. 25/64 = 1/2". 59/64 = 1" and 33/64 = 1/2". Thank you for your interest!

  15. I'm trying to make your planter box as a surprise for my wife. I tried to download the parts list but it keeps telling me that too many folks have viewed it and I should come back in 24 hrs. Can you email me the parts list? I really don't want to ask my wife to help me write it all down as we watch the video.
